The project involves developing a smart energy management system for homes, integrating IoT devices, photovoltaics, and energy storage. It includes data visualization, analysis of key indicators (e.g., self-sufficiency, CO₂ emissions), and consumption optimization. Real-time control logic and device integration are also essential parts of the work.
🛠 Key Technologies:
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with RESTful APIs and data serialization (JSON, XML)
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Version control using Git
- Experience with unit testing and test automation (e.g., pytest)
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
- English at a working level; Polish required, German is a plus
💼 Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend components and data processing logic in Python
- Create and consume REST APIs for integration with other system components
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Work closely with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver features
- Debug and resolve issues in production and development environments
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Document developed features and technical decisions
- Contribute to automation and efficiency improvements in the development workflow
