In many cases, AI also operates locally. It supports a single contributor, a single section, or a single task. It has no visibility into how the response evolves as a whole, how different teams influence the narrative, or how commitments accumulate across dozens of answers. Without that systemic view, AI cannot protect the organisation from overpromising or internal contradiction.

As a result, AI in RFPs often improves efficiency while leaving the core problem untouched. The document is produced faster, but the organisation is no more certain that it can stand behind what it has submitted. The question remains unanswered: who is responsible for ensuring that the final response is consistent, defensible, and aligned with reality?

The agent as the guardian of consistency and accountability in RFPs
