🛠Key Technologies:
- Strong experience with Linux/UNIX systems, especially AIX, RedHat, and SuSE.
- Hands-on knowledge of virtualization platforms such as PowerVM and VMware ESX.
- Proficiency with scripting and automation using Bash, Python, Perl, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Monitoring and performance analysis using Nagios, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Experience with Kubernetes environments, particularly RedHat OpenShift.
- Familiarity with HPC clusters and specialized software like Ansys or MSC.
- Understanding of configuration management and infrastructure-as-code.
- Solid grasp of IT security practices and basic networking concepts.
- LPIC certification is a plus.
- Languages: Fluent in Polish and English, communicative German is desirable.
💼 Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain performance and availability of virtualized UNIX/Linux systems.
- Monitor system metrics and perform root cause analysis using modern tools.
- Support and operate Kubernetes clusters and assist DevOps teams.
- Manage HPC clusters and ensure the reliability of engineering platforms.
- Automate and standardize system environments through scripting and configuration management.
- Handle OS patching and participate in the lifecycle of infrastructure projects.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to operational excellence through documentation and proactive improvements.
